Nooksack River rafting trips journey down this spectacular glacier fed river dropping from the slopes of Mt. Shuksan and Mt. Baker. The narrow steep gorge in the upper third of the Nooksack River whitewater rafting trip contrasts sharply with the casual reaches of the remaining five miles of the River. This river trip offers Excitement and fun for the whole family with two departures daily, 9am and 1pm meet times, during June - August. Nooksack River rafting trips are okay for energetic beginners. The views of Mt. Baker and other peaks in the rugged area can be spectacular and we encourage other activities available such as hiking, photography and sight-seeing.

Where to Meet for the Nooksack River Rafting Trip

We will meet our guests on Highway 542 at the Chair 9 Pizza and Restaurant in Glacier WA (www.chair9.com), which is located in between Mileposts 34 and 35. From I-5 at Bellingham drive east on Hwy 542 to and through the town of Glacier and we are located at the restaurant. The address is 10459 Mt Baker Hwy # 542, Glacier, WA 98244.

Lunch

Lunch will be provided by Chair 9 restaurant and the menus will vary. No alcohol is served. If you have special dietary needs just let us know and we'll be happy to try to accommodate you. The morning trip meets at 9am, goes rafting and finishes with the lunch afterwards - and for the 1pm trip come hungry at 1pm for lunch then rafting later in the heat of the day.

BTW - Blue T Lodge is next to Chair 9 Pizza and located at the base of Mt. Baker in the town of Glacier,Wa. We offer 6 rooms. 1 Handicap with a queen bed, 4 rooms with 2 queen beds and 1 room with a queen bed and queen sofa sleeper. All rooms have private bath, tvs with dvd, free in room movies, in room coffee, hot coco. Rates varie by weekday/weekend and season.. usually $99-$89. Please call 360.599.9944
